We Are Moving Into a New Season.

I'm sure we all have our favorite season...mine is probably Spring. The dead comes to life and all things are made new again. God not only does this in nature but He does this in our lives. He wants to prosper us, to restore us and to bring us closer to Him.
So how do we get there?
We first must look at our life and recognize all the things that have become chains in our lives. Self evaluation. God cannot bring you into a new season where he wants to lift you up if you are still carrying the weights and chains of your past. Healing must take place and God can and will meet you right there. God wants us to recognize the devil and how he attacks, only then will it become where it doesn't have the same effect over us. Things that used to effect us, words spoken over us, actions that trigger us.....all of these will become more easy to handle and no longer cripple us. We are becoming more mature in God. Don't let people speak things over you that are not truth. If you are born again and living in Gods will, continue that. Satan would want you to think that you are defined by your past but the blood of our Savior has washed us clean and we have been made new. Recognize Satan when he attacks. Rebuke Him, let him know he has no place in your home, your work, your marriage or your mind. God needs us to be mature in Christ. We must be professing what we preach. We have to learn to take everything to God first. He always gives the best advice. We also must be the ones to take the initiative. Did you know that in Matthew 5:23-24, God instructs us that if we are entering into a place of worship to bring our offering and we have a grudge with anyone, that God commands for you to leave immediately and make it right, and then we are to come back and make it right with God. We have got to learn what true sympathy is. It's taking others people feelings into consideration. Romans 15:2 tells us to please others, not ourselves. We also have to admit our part in the conflict. Matthew 7:5 reminds us all about that speck in the eye and 1 John 1:8 also lets us know that if we think we are free from sin, we are wrong! We have to learn to tackle the problem, not the person. Communication is key. Find out what has triggered the division and start there and devise a plan to put into place when you recognize what is happening. God needs us to be peacemakers, they are the children of God. Matthew 5:9. And the beautiful thing is, we don't have to do this alone. God is giving us new armor. He recognizes that wounds from our past have left holes from things that have hurt us. And never underestimate the power of a praying friend. We must have prayer alliances. God will bring 2-3 to stand in agreement with us. HE wants us in a triumphant place where even though the enemy will try to pull us down, and he will, that will not be lasting but momentary. Things that used to take you down and may have taken days to overcome will now be fleeting. God has given us the power to overcome. He wants to bring us into a new season but we have got to shake off the things of the past, or they will only follow you into this new season and make it become just like the old. Learn to trust God. Desire to be like Him. He is calling us to a higher place and higher standards.
