How's your vision???

You know even as Christians we all see things thru different light. We pray for a heart of compassion and to see people as God sees people, but sometimes our vision may be cloudy.

Nearsighted Christians tend to grasp on to temporal or worldly things as if you had 1000s of years to enjoy it.
Farsighted Christians can see all the way up to Heaven. They may be beaming with joy of their eternal life and what God has waiting for them, yet they can't see the needs of their neighbors. 😁
Any yes, there are cross-eyed Christians. They don't want to miss out on anything the world or Heaven has to offer. They want it all, but they don't really find joy in either.
We have 20/20 vision Christians. These are our faithful Christians, they love the Lord and His people and truly have a heart for God.
And last but not least...we have our eagle or telescopic eyed Christians. They are living out the life intended for us to have. Daily storing up treasures in Heaven and becoming a steward of God.
I look at all of these different characteristics and fill mixed emotions. You SEE, I know what my "vision" used to be and thank God He took off those blinders!!! And then I think of where my vision is now, funny because my medical doctor would tell me I don't have 20/20 vision; but The Great Physician tells me otherwise. And yet even that is bittersweet, because I know my Heavenly Father doesn't settle for that, he's not done with me: he wants, desires and requires so much more that I when I close my eyes I see this vision; a beautiful eagle flying and soaring high above the mountains tops and valley's as a gentle breeze carries it higher and higher. I pray that you too my friends allow God to be the gentle wind that carries you to your next level ❤️
